Throughout his career, Ryan has held various titles. Still, one thing has been a constant – a passion for solving business problems, whether it’s integrating online ordering systems with paid search or outranking national restaurant chains by optimizing for mobile. Having spent nearly a decade of his career in the hospitality and luxury lodging industry (including conferences, corporate meetings, fine dining, and food services), Ryan has extensive experience in marketing a range of related services. Paul Rakovich
The day after graduating with a Hotel & Restaurant degree, Paul moved to Las Vegas (in a very slow uHaul) and spent the next ten years working in restaurants. From managing 5,000 covers/day at the Café at Mandalay Bay to opening restaurants for Neiman Marcus, to the last five years of his restaurant career as a sommelier for Emeril Lagasse, Paul knows how restaurants work.
Before & after work, he ran an e-commerce business that would spark a passion for internet marketing. He transitioned out of the hustle & bustle of the restaurant world into his true calling, developing digital marketing strategies for exciting new restaurant concepts, aggressive hospitality brands, and a wide variety of businesses. He learned how to efficiently and effectively solve any industry's universal challenge–finding and converting more customers.
After starting his digital advertising agency, success grew quickly, placing him on the Inc 500/5000 list twice. A restaurant group approached Paul in NY to marry the two worlds of digital marketing & hospitality smack in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
He used his knowledge of managing millions of dollars in digital advertising to help keep a great boutique restaurant group going during the restaurant industry's toughest time since 9/11.
