Digital Marketing Trends For 2020
I made one of these lists a couple of months ago. However, since the year is coming to a close, I thought that I would give a more updated list. These are trends to look out for this upcoming year.
Voice Search
Voice search has become quite prominent in the world of digital marketing.This can be noticed with the rise of smart speaker devices available for consumption. In fact, the BBC has reported that 55% of households are expected to own smart speaker devices by 2022. Taking voice search into account in your marketing vision is a smart idea.
Chatbot Marketing

Long story short, chatbot marketing enables you to communicate with your audience individually with greater efficiency. On average, active ads do much better than generic ones. The whole point of advertising is to gain the attention of consumers. New technology now enables advertisements to be more customizable and hold many functions. It can be used to survey the needs of your audience. On another note, it can be used so that consumers can directly shop from your ad. There are endless ways to implement interactive advertising. Seeing as the tide is shifting to this form, it would be a mistake and outdated not to incorporate this into your marketing.
Influencer Marketing
This may seem a bit out there, but it makes a phenomenal difference in terms of expanding the number of impressions and the size of your audience. Using influencers to help promote your product or service is the best way to grow recognition. If using an influencer seems daunting, partnerships with other companies or organization can also deliver a similar result. With this method, you will develop relationships with others and create a unique product or service that both audiences will enjoy. I’ll admit, this one does seem the most drastic out of all of them. However, I would still recommend starting slow. 2020 will mark the height of influencer marketing. Don’t be left behind!
